Technical is part of the Science and Technology Faculty
The departments aim to provide the best possible learning experiences for each child by
- Providing a full range of suitable courses for all ability levels.
- To encourage pupils to develop their knowledge & understanding practical abilities and ICT skills.
- To promote and provide opportunities to learn and develop valuable life skills.
- To develop greater awareness of the world of work and prepare students for life beyond school.
- To present a balanced curriculum in a happy and safe environment.
- To promote equal opportunities for all.
- To promote positive discipline by the use of assertive discipline and the school reward system.
- To encourage pupils to take responsibility for their own learning.
Our aim is to engage pupils in the learning process by providing pupils with experiences and opportunities to develop multiple facets of intelligence. The learning process will be integrated as appropriate to help pupils make sense of their learning whilst preparing them for life beyond school. We believe there is scope within all subject areas that will encourage and support the pupil’s to become:
