Parent Council

The next meeting of our Parent Council is scheduled for Tuesday 25^th October, starting at 6pm in the school.  All parents/carers are welcome.

St Margaret Mary’s Secondary School has for several years had a very active Parent Council.  However over the last two years, as their sons/daughters have completed their six years at the school, several of our long serving members have had to retire from the council.

In order to ensure the future of our Parent Council new members are required.  I would ask you as a parent/carer to consider attending our Parent Council. 

The meeting is open to all parent/carers.  The meetings normally last approximately one hour.  At this inaugural meeting there will be an explanation of the role of the Council; decision on the best day of the week and time to hold the meetings and a brief presentation by our Counselling Service – Place 2 Be.

I encourage you to come along to the Council meeting and support your school.
