On the 15th March 2013 St Margaret Mary's Secondary School celebrated its Golden Jubilee. A Thanksgiving Mass was celebrated by Archbishop Tartaglia in St Margaret Mary's Church, followed by a reception in the school itself.

Many former pupils and staff attended the Jubilee event, recalling stories of their time at the school. The walls were adorned with photographs, newspaper articles and written memories from the last 50 years.
