We are delighted to announce that St Margaret Mary's Secondary has been awarded the Silver CyberFirst Award by the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC).

The CyberFirst Schools Programme recognises schools across the UK that are committed to inspiring the next generation of cyber security specialists. It promotes excellence in digital learning, cyber awareness, and the development of valuable digital and employability skills.

To achieve the Silver Award, we have demonstrated a strong commitment to embedding cyber security and digital safety into our curriculum. This includes:

• Expanding opportunities for pupils to engage with computing and cyber-related activities, both in lessons and through clubs.

• Building digital resilience and ensuring pupils understand how to stay safe online.

• Working with industry partners and external organisations to bring real-world cyber expertise into the classroom.

• Supporting staff with training and resources to deliver high-quality digital and cyber education.

This award reflects the hard work of our staff, the enthusiasm of our pupils, and our vision to prepare young people with the skills and awareness needed for the digital world.
