The letter outlines funding from the Scottish Government for Local Authorities to use as additional top up grants for our children and young people who meet the eligibility criteria for free school meals. This week, there has been a further announcement of a payment of £100 for families for each child entitled to free school meals. 

Any new applicants for free school meals must apply by Monday 7th December 2020 to receive the additional £120 payment. You can find out the eligibility criteria and fill out an application at:
